AN INTRODUCTION OF A BOOK AT THE LITHUANIAN EMBASSY IN HELSINKI

A Finnish translation of a book „The Unknown War. Armed anti-Soviet resistence in Lithuania in 1944-1953“ („Tuntematon sota. Liettuan neuvostovastainen aseistettu vastarinta vuosina 1944-1953“) prepared by Genocide and Resistence Research Centre of Lithuania was introduced for the public at the Embassy of Lithuania in Helsinki on March 21, 2007. The translation into Finnish and publishing arrangements were done by the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Finland Markus Aaltonen.
Also, the guests had an opportunity to watch a documentary „Back on the Map“.
