Christmas celebration for children in the Embassy of Lithuania

Following the annual tradition, on December 10, 2016 in the Embassy of Lithuania in Helsinki was held a Christmas celebration for Lithuanian community children and their parents.

Ambassador Valdemaras Sarapinas congratulated community members with the upcoming holidays, expressing joy for increasing Lithuanian community activeness in participation at events, organized by the Embassy.

Children attending Lithuanian schools, led by teachers Ms Erika Andersson and Ms Regina Siira welcomed Santa with a Lithuanian song. Together with their parents they recited poems and actively participated in Santa program. After the performance Santa handed symbolic presents to children.

Following the celebration guests took pictures with Santa and spent time interacting with each other at the Lithuanian refreshment table.

The celebration was organized by the Embassy of Lithuania in Finland.
