Day of Restoration of Independence of Lithuania commemorated in Embassy of Lithuania
On the occasion of the Restoration of Independence of Lithuania, Lithuanians in Finland gathered for a meeting with journalist, writer, show host and active public figure Andrius Tapinas on the 11th of the March at the Embassy of Lithuania in Helsinki.
Lithuanian ambassador to Finland Valdemaras Sarapinas congratulated Lithuanians with the occasion of the 11th of March and emphasized it‘s importance, the pursuit of freedom and encourage Lithuanians to be united.
Andrius Tapinas with abundantly gathered Lithuanians discussed about politics, economics, geopolitics, civil society and education issues of Lithuania. He emphasized importance of co-operation between professionals of foreign Lithuanians and specialists of Lithuania. He encouraged the community to be pro-active and search common exposure points with Lithuania.
