Embassy hosted annual meeting with the academic youth

On 8 November, Embassy of Lithuanian in Helsinki invited the Lithuanian students in Finland and Finnish students studying Lithuanian language and culture to the annual students’ meeting.
The students were greeted by the Ambassador of Lithuania Mr. Arūnas Jievaltas who has encouraged them to take an active part in the Embassy’s and the Lithuanian Community’s activities and use every opportunity to successfully represent Lithuania abroad.
Mr. Esa Karvinen, Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Finland introduced vociational education and training system in Finland.
Students had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the Lithuanian community in Finland and Lithuanian youth union as well as the opportunity to join them.
