On behalf of the Republic of Lithuania and on my own behalf I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on the 100-years of Independence of Finland and to convey the best wishes for the welfare and prosperity to the people of Finland. Lithuania celebrates together with you.
On the threshold of its Centenary of independence, Lithuania is well aware of the price that a nation has to pay for preserving its language, culture and identity in the twists and turns of history. We admire your courage in defending independence and your achievements over the past one hundred years.
