Lithuania was presented in Nordic Travel Fair Matka 2015

Lithuanian tourism opportunities were in presented Nordic Travel Fair MATKA 2015 on 15-18 January in Helsinki. Lithuania was presented by the Lithuanian State Department of Tourism and also representatives from cities of Vilnius, Kaunas and Trakai.

Visitors of Lithuanian stand had an opportunity to virtually visit the capital city Vilnius by taking a picture in the background of Vilnius old town. Visitors also were invited to taste apple juice, Lithuanian cheese and sweets. Those who were interested in Lithuania were able to find information both in English and Finnish languages.

Travel Fair MATKA is the largest travel event in Northern Europe. This year the event attracted around 68 000 visitors.
