Lithuanian film evenings in Helsinki

On 12 and 13 November 2014 Lithuanian film evenings took place in Helsinki, at cinema K-13. It is the seventh year when Lithuanian film evenings are organized in Helsinki. Lithuanian film evenings in Helsinki have become a nice tradition and each year attracts more and more Lithuanian film lovers.

This year the programme of the film evenings included two full-length films (documentary How We Played the Revolution by Giedrė Žickytė and feature film The Excursionist by Audrius Juzėnas) and two short films (The Queen of England Stole My Parents by Ernestas Jankauskas and The Etude by Austėja Urbaitė). The audience also had an opportunity to meet the director of the film How We Played the Revolution Giedrė Žickytė.

Lithuanian film evenings were organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in cooperation with Lithuanian Community in Finland, Donelaitis seura - liettuan ystävät ry and the International Cultural Programme Centre in Vilnius k-operator.
