Lithuanian tourism oportunities were presented in Helsinki
On April 3, 2014 Lithuanian tourism opportunities were presented in Helsinki. The event was organized by Lithuanian State Tourism Department together with Lithuanian Tourism Office in Scandinavia and Lithuanian Embassy in Finland and was dedicated to representatives of Finnish tourism and media.
In the event Lithuanian Ambassador in Finland Arūnas Jievaltas congratulated the participants. Representatives of Lithuanian State Tourism Department, Municipality of Vilnius and Lithuanian Honorary Consul in Finland Päivikki Palosaari presented news and opportunities of Lithuanian tourism. After the presentations contact fair took place where participants had a possibility to develop connections with Lithuanian tourism agencies.
In addition, evening guests had a chance to taste Lithuanian cuisine, were introduced with amber products and Lithuanian sauna traditions. Moreover, five participants won holiday packages to Lithuania.
