Lithuanian transport sector presented in Helsinki
On 27 August, Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Transport and Communications Mr. Arijandas Sliupas participated in the Finnish Association of Purchasing and Logistics Conference (LOGY) where the infrastructure of Lithuanian transport sector was presented.
Lithuanian Vice-Minister emphasized Finland's role in the development of the railway „Rail Baltica“ and Finland’s political support for the project during the conference. Lithuanian railway projects „Viking line“ and „Saule“ were also introduced.
Vice-Minister have also meet Ms. Minna Kivimäki, Director-General of the Transport Policy Department at Finland's Ministry of Transport and Communications during the visit in Finland. The „Rail Baltica“ project and other relevant issues were discussed during the meeting.
