Little Christmas for children at the Embassy of Lithuania
On 28 November, Lithuanians living in Finland once again extended their beaufiful tradition of gathering at the Embassy of Lithuania in Finland and celebrating little Christmas (Pikkujoulu).
Mr Arūnas Jievaltas, Ambassador of Lithuania to Finland, took an opportunity to congratulate all the guests with the upcoming holidays and extended his joy on ever-increasing community’s presence at events, organized by the Embassy of Lithuania.
As usual, the Christmas celebration focused on children and their performance for the Santa, prepared by teachers Ms Erika Andersson, Ms Regina Siira and Ms Giedrė Tabocchini. Children were singing Lithuanian songs, reciting poems and impressing everyone by solo performances with guitar and violin. After the show, all the children received a gift from Santa and the latter gladly took pictures with the guests.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Lithuania in Finland in cooperation with Lithuanian community in Finland.
