Centrum Balticum and Embassy of Lithuania warmly welcome you to seminar “Catherine Jagellonica and Baltic cooperation – a modern view”

on Wednesday, 15th of April 2009 at 15.00 – 19.00

in Alvarium, Puutarhakatu 8 B, Turku

 

The seminar marks the Millennium of Lithuania 1009-2009. It will have a look at the past and the future of the Baltic Sea region cooperation. The seminar approaches the subject from the perspective of Catherine Jagellonica, daughter of King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, Duchess of Finland. The subject aims at building a bridge between history of Turku and Vilnius and their future challenges as part of the Baltic Sea region, twenty years after the end of the cold war.
